Tax Update 2017
Speaker: Rex Decker, CPA, MBA, JD, Principal at Rehmann
Rex Decker will be discussing his view of the possible tax laws changes in Washington both domestic and international and how those changes may affect your clients.
Rex is a principal with Rehmann's tax team and based in the Toledo office. He primarily works with clients in the service, healthcare, manufacturing and real estate industries. Rex focuses on translating the tax law into a language that everyone can understand. He strives to help his clients maximize the benefits of tax planning by applying the same risk and cost benefit analysis that they use for other business decisions.
Rex began his public accounting career in 1974. He joined Rehmann in 2016 in connection with the Firm’s business combination with Sobb Roberts Inc., where he was vice president and partner. He has a BA and MBA from Michigan State University and JD from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Since 1941, Rehmann has provided one-on-one financial services to small businesses and middle-market companies throughout Michigan and beyond. They have grown to become one of the largest CPA, business consulting and financial services firms in the Midwest with 800 associates in 17 offices located in Michigan, Ohio and Florida. BA
