The escalating trade war, the Fed and the inverted yield curve have caused panic attacks among investors. Will there be a recession in 2020? Can it be avoided? Nick Raich, CFA of the Earnings Scout will answer these questions and more. He will also provide his firm’s outlook on where the best and worst opportunities are likely to be in the stock market over the next 12-18 months.
Nick Raich is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Earnings Scout, an independent macroeconomic research firm that specializes in earnings trends. He is widely recognized as a leading expert on corporate profits and makes frequent appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, as well as in in national and regional print media, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and The New York Times.
Prior to founding The Earnings Scout, Raich had 15 years of an experience as a Director of Research successfully leading teams of investment professionals that consistently outperformed at Key Private Bank, National City and Zacks Investment Research in Chicago.
Raich has a BS in Finance and an MBA from Youngstown State University. He is a member of the Forbes Investment Panel, a member of the Lariccia School of Accounting and Finance Advisory Council at Youngstown State and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.
